Emily’s work captures her joy of nature, coast and architecture. Focusing on colour, form and movement to celebrate Norfolk and Suffolk. Her quirky, lively style evokes happy memories of East Anglian life.
Having grown up and studied in Norfolk the depiction of her favourite locations seemed only natural. As an artist Emily has a true affinity with the sea and all aspects of coastal life, and has links to the sea on both sides of her family, including stories of shipwrecks and brave lifeboat crew members. Her time spent travelling with fairground Showmen also feeding into her work, adding to her expressive and joyful painting style.
