This special film looks at the work of Claire Hack at her Blue Flame Glass Studio in Norfolk. Claire is a glass artist and works at her studio at Salle farm, just outside Reepham.
She has been lampworking for 18 years and now enjoys sharing her passion for glassworking with others. It all began when she became ill, prompting her to pursue something she had always wanted to try – melting glass!
Years of treatment later, flameworking has become her escape and therapy, watching the glass transform into beautiful pieces of art is like magic. She creates a range of pieces inspired by her love of Norfolk and fantasy including glass dragons, flowers and pendants based on Norfolk’s coastal sunsets.
